According to the latest report released by the World intellectual property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva on February 28, 2023, China's PCT international patent applications once again ranked first in the world in 2022. OPPO ranked sixth in the world with 1963 PCT international patent applications, which made OPPO one of the top 10 in the world for four consecutive years.

As the world's leading technology company, OPPO continues to protect the global business in more than 40 countries and regions. As of December 31, 2022, the number of OPPO patent applications worldwide exceeded 88000, and the number of global authorizations exceeded 44000, ranking third in the world. Among them, the number of invention patent applications exceeded 80000, accounting for 90% of all patent applications. The main areas covered by patents include 5G, imaging, chips, innovative forms, charging and so on.

The rich patent reserve also enables OPPO to continue to bring innovative products. On MWC2023, OPPO demonstrated a variety of innovative products and technologies, such as the folding flagship Find N2 series and zero power label, Wi-Fi router, 45W liquid-cooled radiator, Air Glass2 assisted reality glasses, and so on. OPPO ranks fourth in global smartphone shipments in 2023 with a market share of 9 per cent, according to IDC.
