CTOnews.com, March 2 (Xinhua)-- SpaceX successfully completed the Crew-6 manned space mission with Falcon 9 at Kennedy Space Center.

The manned Dragon 2 spacecraft Endeavour (previously on three Demo-2, Crew-2 and Ax-1 missions) with four astronauts on board will arrive at the International Space Station after a 24.5-hour flight and stay there for six months.

Minutes after launch, the new Falcon Core I B1078.1 landed safely on the JRTI recovery ship.

This is the 14th SpaceX launch this year, the 17th US rocket launch, the 29th global space launch, the 207th launch of Falcon 9, and the 136th successful sea recovery rocket.

The flight crew included NASA astronaut and mission commander Stephen Bowen, pilot Warren "Woody" Hoburg, and two mission experts, United Arab Emirates astronaut Sultan Alneyadi and Russian cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev.

After going into space, Hoburg was obviously excited about what he had just experienced. "as a novice pilot, it was a great flight, thank you," he replied to SpaceX's flight control center by radio. "I would say it's absolutely an engineering miracle. I feel very lucky to be able to fly this amazing machine."

CTOnews.com reported that Crew-6 had planned to launch at 14:45 on Monday, but cancelled and postponed the launch after discovering an anomaly in the ground supply system of triethyl aluminum-triethyl boron (TEA-TEB), the igniter of the Falcon 9 No. 1 engine, before the launch.

The investigation found that the root cause of the abnormality leading to the previous launch abort was the blockage of the filter in the TEA-TEB reflux line, which led to the abnormally low parameter.

Normally, before the Falcon 9 is temporary, the TEA-TEB igniter flows from the ground supply system to the rocket, and then back to the supply system tank, forming a cyclic process. In this process, the flow into the ground storage tank is one of the parameters used to determine whether the TEA-TEB supply is normal.
