Data from Southern Power Grid show that the mobile energy storage power station has a power of 6 megawatts, a capacity of 7.2 megawatt-hours and a rated voltage of 10 kilovolts directly. The project team broke through the key technologies and connected the battery pack to the high-voltage AC system directly by cascading the battery pack. In this way, the energy storage power station without transformer boost can "move" anywhere.

CTOnews.com learned from the official of Southern Power Grid that the demonstration construction of the battery energy storage station has also realized three first times in the field of electrochemical energy storage in China, including the first application of the cascade structure of "H bridge", the first research and application of thermal barrier technology between battery clusters, and the first conquer of the key black start technology of mobile large capacity battery energy storage station.

The cascade structure of "H bridge" is used for the first time, which can achieve the same energy storage efficiency in the case of greatly reducing the number of energy storage systems.

It is the first time to study and apply the thermal barrier technology between battery clusters, to treat the battery cabinet with voltage insulation and fire insulation, and to install heat insulation between the battery arrays, which can greatly prolong the rescue buffer time to 60 minutes in extreme cases such as fire.
