I. download the installation package

II. Unzip to installation directory

D:\install_path

III. Add path environment variable

path=xxx;D:\install_path\bin

IV. Create parameter file

D:\install_path\bin\my.ini

v. installation

mysqld -install mysql --defaults-file=D:\mysql\bin\my.ini (parameter file path)

Delete command:sc delete mysql

vi. initialize MySQL

mysqld --initialize-insecure

VII. start the service

D:\mysql\bin>net start mysql

The mysql service is starting.

The mysql service was started successfully.

VIII. Login and set password

mysql -uroot

mysql> set password=password('root');

Query OK, 0 rows affected, 1 warning (0.00 sec)

mysql> flush privileges;

Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)
