CTOnews.com, March 2 (Xinhua)-- investment analysis firm JP Morgan reports that sales of the iPhone 14 series are better than the previous generation, and there are signs that the number of users switching from the Android camp has been significantly higher since January.

In a report to investors, JPMorgan Chase pointed out that based on Wave7 Research's survey of sales of major U.S. carriers, Apple's iPhone 14's market demand is declining, but its market share is higher than in previous years.

"iPhone accounted for 69 per cent of sales among the top three US carriers (Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile) in January, compared with 70 per cent in December last year," JPMorgan Chase said in a report. But it performed better than the previous generation, accounting for 67 per cent of the iPhone 13 cycle and 60 per cent of the iPhone 12 cycle.

JPMorgan Chase continued in the report: "the iPhone share of all three operators is still higher than before the release and has a seasonal increase relative to the previous product cycle. Importantly, Wave7's latest survey highlights significant improvements in the supply chain at the end of December and early January, especially the 14 Pro and Pro Max models."

CTOnews.com also learned from the report that a survey of 38 carrier sales managers found that more than 50 per cent of managers found that more users switched from Android to iPhone than from iPhone to Android.
