CTOnews.com, March 1 (Xinhua)-- realme launched a 150W phone in 2022, followed by the first 240W fast-charging phone this year. Realme will also cover fast charging on more models.

Realme's goal in 2023 is to have at least 90% of the world's realme models support 33W or higher charging rates. Realme has reached this level in a market segment of $250 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1735 yuan) to $399 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 2769 yuan), but it will also cover more affordable phones.

According to Counterpoint, realme is still the only company to launch 65W rechargeable phones (that is, 2020 Narzo 20 Pro) within the price range of $100,149 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1034 yuan). By 2022, 85% of realme's phones will support fast charging (broadly defined as more than 10W).

Realme's new commitment will bring the minimum fast charge of all devices except the lowest equipment to 33W.
