CTOnews.com, March 1 (Xinhua)-- as part of a major update to the Windows 11 system in February 2023, Microsoft has released the official general version of Windows 365 App for Windows 11 and Windows 10. The application allows users to access Microsoft's cloud PC servers and is suitable for small and large enterprises.

Users need to subscribe to Windows 365 to use the new application. Microsoft stated that:

"with the Windows 365 application, you can move directly from the desktop to the cloud PC, which will provide you with a personalized experience tailored to user settings, profiles, and how you work. It also reduces differences among IT administrators, who can provide employees with a single sign-on experience."

Some of the features included in this Windows 365 application are as follows:

Use the window or full-screen mode of the cloud computer

Provide a high-performance, reliable experience for Microsoft Teams, multimedia redirection, and other Microsoft 365 applications

Users can restart, reset, restore, rename and troubleshoot cloud PC directly from Windows

Direct single sign-on experienc

Support for Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) multiple authentication (MFA) and Microsoft Authenticator authenticators for secure access to cloud PC

Use screen readers and keyboard shortcuts for accessibility

Update the application automatically on a regular basis to ensure that employees use the latest version of Windows 365

Microsoft will include this application in all newly installed Windows 11. For all other users, the Windows 365 application for Windows 10 and 11 can be downloaded from the store (CTOnews.com with a download link). Microsoft plans to add more features to the application in the coming weeks and months.
