Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen epace for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com March 1, Dell unveiled a new XPS desktop PC 8960 at MWC 2023, which can be configured with up to Intel's 13th generation Core i9-13900K CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.

Dell XPS desktop 8960 offers a variety of Intel processors, including Core i9-13900K, Core i7-13700K, their non-K variants, Core i5-13600K and Core i5-13400.

The desktop features a proprietary Z690 motherboard with up to 64 GB of DDR5 4800 MT / s memory and 8 TB (4 + 4) solid state storage. Unfortunately, Dell does not offer any SSD + HDD combinations. Fortunately, the 27.1L chassis has two 3.5-inch brackets, allowing users to add their own storage space.

Dell XPS desktop 8960 has a variety of options, from Turing-based GeForce GTX 1650 to Ada Lovelace-based GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090.

The new XPS desktop PC launched by Dell today is powerful, but expensive. The standard model equipped with the 13th generation Intel Core i7-13700K and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 GPU sells for $2849.99 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 19779 yuan).

While Dell launched the new XPS desktop PC, it also downgraded the old model. XPS desktops with built-in generation 12 Intel CPU and RTX 30xx series GPU are available on Dell's US website, starting at $650.
