CTOnews.com March 1 news, Internet of things wireless communication solutions and wireless communication module provider Guanghetong officially announced that the new generation of 5G module FG370 has achieved mass production, and during MWC 2023 jointly released the FG370-based FWA (CTOnews.com Note: full name Fixed Wireless Access, fixed Wireless access) solution, including the reference design of CPE and MiFi. Guanghetong's FG370-based FWA solution, including CPE and MiFi reference design Demo, fully supports more than seven advanced features of WiFi 7. BE19000's CPE reference design Demo size is 100*147*16.75mm, supports tri-band Wi-Fi 7, can be extended to 1 "2.5G / 1G PHY and SLIC interface; BE6500 MiFi reference design Demo size is 128.9*64.1*5.85mm, supports dual-band Wi-Fi 7, can be extended to 1mm 1G PHY interface, and provides software algorithms such as fast charge management.

In order to meet the needs of different customers for 5G rate, 5G coverage and storage, Guanghetong continues to optimize products on PC1.5, low-frequency 4x4 MIMO, split storage, as well as product upgrades in the millimeter wave band.

The FG370 module was released in October 2022 and has obtained CE and GCF certification. FG370 has achieved mass production on a large scale a few days ago, and the first batch of mass production products have been landed on the customer terminal equipment.

Thanks to the performance of MediaTek T830 platform, FG370 has been significantly upgraded in terms of main frequency performance and gigabit throughput performance. Without increasing the CPU load, FG370 can provide gigabit throughput performance for 5G network transmission to Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

On 5G rate and signal coverage, FG370 supports up to 300MHz bandwidth and downlink NR 4CA (four-carrier aggregation) in FDD and TDD mixed mode, and the highest downlink rate can jump to 7.01Gbps. Furthermore, the FG370 uses a 5G compatible 8RX (receiving antenna) design to increase the downlink rate while keeping the bandwidth constant. In addition, FG370 supports PC1.5 with transmit power up to 29dBm, which greatly improves 5G uplink rate and 5G effective coverage.

FG370 has rich peripheral interfaces (CTOnews.com Note: including 3 PCI-Express, USB 3.2, and two USXGMII interfaces up to 10GbE) and can be extended to the SLIC function through the PCM / SPI interface, thus supporting the RJ11 phone interface.
