CTOnews.com, February 28 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft's head of advertising and web services, Mikhail Palagin, posted a message on his Twitter account today that the 96th version of New Bing chat is now being launched to testers.

Palakin followed up by introducing major improvements to Bing chat v96, one of which is to reduce the number of times that chatbots don't answer questions for no reason, and another major improvement is to "reduce the incidence of 'hallucination' when answering questions." The answers given by artificial intelligence chatbots may seem convincing or even reliable, but they may be completely wrong, known as "hallucination" and commonly known as "serious nonsense".

If Microsoft does make these improvements, it is still very important that one of the biggest shortcomings of current ChatGPT-like chatbots is that they give wrong answers that are not true.

CTOnews.com reported earlier today that Microsoft has invited some new Bing users to test "response tone" features / features, allowing users to switch between "Creative", "Balanced" and "Precise" modes. Palahin said that the final version of Bing chat mode selector will be released "in the next few days" and will allow Bing chat users to choose whether they need standard questions and answers. More accurate answers, or more "creative" answers.
