RTX Video Super Resolution uses AI to improve the quality of all videos viewed in the browser by removing blocky compression artifacts and increasing video resolution. The technology improves the sharpness and clarity of video, allowing online content to be viewed in its original resolution on high-resolution displays.

CTOnews.com partners need to use RTX 40 or RTX 30 series graphics cards, then update the driver to version 531.18 WHQL, and turn on the video super resolution option in the Nvidia control panel, you can see the effect in the latest version of Chrome or Edge browser.

RTX video super resolution is adjustable from 1 to 4, the larger the number, the higher the performance requirements for graphics cards. Nvidia said that all RTX 30/40 graphics cards can turn on 1 quality mode, but only high-end graphics cards with 70 levels and above can play 4 content. Nvidia has previously said that the technology will support RTX 20 series graphics cards in the future, but it will take some time to adapt.
