Zhou Yuan said that ChatGPT is a technological innovation in the field of artificial intelligence, which is essentially a cognitive model with tens of billions of parameters, unlike the original artificial intelligence, which matches existing answers according to keywords. It is a model based on content and data training, which is close to the process of human brain output, neither directly copying nor querying pre-saved data, or even "directly taken away on a U disk".

Zhou Yuan believes that the value of ChatGPT can be considered from three angles. First, as an auxiliary tool, it can effectively improve the efficiency of creation. From this point of view, human beings welcome ChatGPT. Second, ChatGPT may become a creator on an equal footing with humans, and people will worry about whether ChatGPT will affect their work, and their tolerance for technology will drop sharply, and humans will feel fear. The third angle is to leave the perspective of the "creator" and regard AI as a real artificial intelligence, which can be engaged in multi-task and multi-scene work, which is completely different from the local artificial intelligence seen in the past. Local artificial intelligence only needs to be more efficient than people in one thing, but ChatGPT has gone beyond the logic of general artificial intelligence and is closer to real human beings. It is multi-tasking, multi-scene, multi-modal, separated from simple content and oriented to all industries.

Microsoft launched a new version of its search engine Bing on February 7 local time, which integrates ChatGPT's artificial intelligence technology. CTOnews.com noted that Zhihu's shares soared 57% on February 8, but then fell, and Hong Kong shares closed down 3.66% at HK $22.35 on the 28th.

Data show that as of the third quarter of last year, Zhihu had an average of 97 million monthly active users, compared with 101.2 million in the same period in 2021. The average number of monthly paid members was 10.9 million, an increase of 99.5% over the same period last year.
