CTOnews.com February 28 news, U.S. Senator Ed Markey (Ed Markey) today sent a letter to Musk, asking for the restoration of Twitter's accessibility team. Musk recently launched the eighth round of layoffs, firing almost the entire Twitter accessibility team.

Markey said in the open letter that since Musk fired the accessibility team, disabled users have reported an increase in difficulties and frustrations in using Twitter.

Before Musk took the helm of Twitter, the platform introduced a number of accessible features / features, such as adding automatic subtitles to videos, adding alternative supplementary text to pictures, providing translation for voice tweets, and so on.
