CTOnews.com Feb. 28, 2014 The Apache Foundation today released an update to OpenOffice 4.1.14. The last 4.1.13 update was released in July last year, and although it took a long time, 4.1.14 did not introduce many updates.

Oracle acquired Sun Microsystems 13 years ago, and LibreOffice forked from OpenOffice.org, gaining widespread support from users and developers and quickly becoming the default office suite for many Linux distributions.
