CTOnews.com February 28, the Armbian development team today officially launched the Armbian 23.02 stable version update, which comes two and a half months after the last version.

The Armbian 23.02 update is mainly upgraded to the long-supported Linux 6.1kernel version, and initially supports the upcoming Debian GNU / Linux 12 "Bookworm" and Ubuntu 23.04( Lunar Lobster) systems.

This update is also optimized for orange pie R1 Plus LTS, ROCK Pi S, Rockchip64 NanoPI NEO3, ROCK Pi 4, raspberry pie 3, NanoPi R2S and Banana Pi BPI-M2 Pro.

Another notable improvement in the Armbian 23.02 update is the addition of support for minimum mirrors, migration of Banana Pi BPI-M5 to previous versions of U-Boot, and so on.

Armbian is a USB Wi-Fi adapter based on RTL8812BU and RTL8822BU chipsets, updated to the 882xbu version of the wireless driver, improved audio configuration scripts, updated U-Boot patches for Jethome JetHub D1 and D1+, and so on.
