CTOnews.com February 28, the open source image editing tool GIMP released an update of version 2.10.34 today. This update optimizes file format processing, adds "display zoomed out picture" for TIFF files, optimizes backward portability of PSD files, adds export support for JPEG XL images, and so on.

GIMP 2.10.34 also migrates the template selector in the canvas size dialog box backward from GIMP 2.99.x, improving desktop color selection on Windows and desktop color selection under X.Org Server.

This version update also includes some macOS-specific improvements, the new plug-in API, and updates to the GEGL and babl libraries. The download link for CTOnews.com is as follows: GIMP.org
