CTOnews.com, February 28 (Xinhua)-- the Wall Street Journal published an article last week pointing out a new type of theft: thieves look for victims in places such as late-night bars, observe the PIN codes entered by iPhone users, and then quickly change Apple ID passwords after stealing their hands.

The report points out that 99% of the theft gangs are currently targeting iPhone users, so they can get higher profits when they change hands.

The problem also exists on Android models. Developer Mishaal Rahman said in a tweet that changing the password of a Google account can be done with only a PIN code.

A Google spokesman issued a statement to the Wall Street Journal on the matter, which CTOnews.com translated as follows:
