CTOnews.com, February 28, Samsung recently submitted an application to South Korean regulators to register the trademarks "Galaxy Ring" and "Galaxy Glass". This suggests that Samsung may launch smart rings and smart glasses this year.

Dutch technology media Galaxy Club reported in October that a hybrid reality headset was being developed within Samsung; earlier this month, new certification information showed it was a separate pair of glasses with its own battery.

Samsung filed a trademark application for "Galaxy Glass" with South Korean regulators on February 22, with the trademark description indicating that the name was used for "virtual reality experience head display" and "smart glasses".

Samsung also filed a trademark application called "Galaxy Ring" on February 23, with CTOnews.com translating the trademark as "a smart device that measures health and / or sleep in the form of a ring."
