At the same time, with the continuous enrichment of terminals, content, experience and business models, more and more operators and partners are attracted to join the wave of prosperity 5G, indicating that the market is changing from risk-based decision-making to revenue-based decision-making, and 5G business success is accelerating to certainty. According to the analysis of Huawei MI team, the rapid migration of 5G users and traffic is the basis of commercial success. The proportion of 5G eMBB traffic reaches 30% in three years, and ROI can be achieved for no more than 4 years. If FWA and toB services are deployed simultaneously, ROI will be further shortened.

ToC: exploring a new mode of network realization based on differentiated user experience

Based on the powerful capability of 5G network, it can provide different experiences for different users, such as providing downlink guarantee rate for VIP users and experience guarantee for uplink business. At present, Chinese operators have begun to explore this new cash mode.

ToH:5G FWA has realized the optical fiber-like experience and is the fastest growing home width technology.

By the end of 2022, 95 operators around the world have commercialized 5G FWA services and developed more than 10 million household users. With fast deployment, good experience, low cost and greener, 5G FWA has been accepted in the old copper wire replacement and EM home wide market, and operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa have achieved outstanding business results.

ToB:5G private network is a stepping stone to help operators to open up the enterprise digital blue ocean market.

Peng Song believes that operators can establish deep business connections with enterprises through 5G private networks, pry 10 times the market space for enterprise digital transformation, and realize the sales of new services such as cloud, data center, F5G and value-added services. At present, the overseas 5G ToB private network market is developing very rapidly. in 2022 alone, the number of 5G ToB private networks built by overseas operators has doubled, and there is great potential for future growth.

Finally, Peng Song said that 5G not only brings economic value to operators, but also contains great social value. Looking to the future, Huawei calls for continued use of G.U.I.D.E together with global operators and industry partners. The business blueprint will lead the future, further stimulate the potential of 5G networks, and promote 5Good to 5Great.

According to the latest statistics of GSMA & GSA in December 2022, 240 + 5G networks have been commercialized worldwide and 1700 + 5G terminals have been released; by the end of last year, 5G users had exceeded 1 billion; and the ARPU of the top 20 top operators in the world grew by 10 per cent, compared with the global baseline of 1 per cent.
