CTOnews.com February 28, Lenovo unveiled ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 and ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 at MWC 2023. One of the highlights that has not yet been mentioned is that Lenovo partnered with Sensel to equip it with its first true all-Sensel technology touchpad, which provides sensitive touch, force and tactile feedback features.

Sensel's touch panel appeared in Surface Laptop Studio and Lenovo's early products. Lenovo invested $18.8 million in Sensel's round B financing in 2022 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 131 million yuan).

Sensel's touch panel is a leader in Windows notebooks and has previously been used in Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga, Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio and Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold 16.

Lenovo announced on MWC 2023 that the ThinkPad Z series also uses Sensel's "full stack" (full stack) technology FusionUX. The Sensel touch panel equipped with ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 and ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 has the characteristics of high fidelity, anti-palm mistouch and high accuracy.

The ThinkPad Z13, which will be launched in July, starts at $1249 (currently about 8693 yuan), while the ThinkPad Z16 will be launched in August, starting at $1749 (currently about 12173 yuan).
