CTOnews.com, February 28, Apple's official website shows that starting from tomorrow (March 1), the price of battery replacement services for some models of Apple's iPhone, iPad and Mac will officially rise. Among them, the cost of battery service for all iPhone models before iPhone 14 will increase by 169yuan.

In other words, starting from March 1, users of the national version will have to pay more if they need to replace their batteries. The old iPhone model with Home button costs 528 yuan to replace the battery, while the iPhone   X series to iPhone   13 series models need 688 yuan to replace the battery.

Starting from March 1, the cost of covered battery service for all MacBook Air models will also increase by 290 yuan, while that for all Macbook and MacBook Pro models will increase by 480 yuan.

In addition, the cost of covered battery service for the following iPad models will increase by RMB149: 12.9in iPad Pro (Gen 5 and earlier), 11in iPad Pro (Gen 3 and earlier), 10.5in iPad Pro, 9.7in iPad Pro, iPad mini (Gen 6 and earlier) and iPad Air (Gen 5 and earlier).

CTOnews.com warns that the price increase here will only affect non-insured users who do not buy AppleCare or AppleCare + for their devices. If you have AppleCare+, once the battery health drops below 80%, you can go to replace the battery for free.
