CTOnews.com February 28 news, New York City police recently issued a reminder that there have been at least 21 AirPods Max robberies, reminding New York users not to wear Apple headphones outdoors.

The report said New York City police received the first robbery on January 28, and the theft gang usually rode a moped in groups of four, quickly picked up the user's AirPods Max as they passed the victim, and then sped away.

New York City police say the case took place throughout Manhattan, including one in Central Park, where the victims ranged in age from 18 to 41. Most thefts take place between noon and late afternoon. The number of AirPods Max stolen was 5 on February 8 and 8 on February 18.

The thief is still at large and the police have not yet arrested the suspect. Apple's AirPods Max currently sells for $549 in the United States (CTOnews.com Note: about 3816 yuan) and 3999 yuan on the Chinese website.
