CTOnews.com February 27, Baidu Group announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange tonight that Yu Zhengjun has resigned as the company's chief strategy officer for personal reasons, effective March 1, 2023. Yu Zhengjun will assist the company to complete the smooth transition of its responsibilities. Yu Zhengjun resigned not because of any dispute or disagreement with the company.

According to CTOnews.com, Yu Zhengjun (Herman) graduated from the University of Southern California with a master's degree in finance and accounting from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California. Former Chief Financial Officer of Sina and Chief Financial Officer of Sina Weibo. On September 18, 2017, Baidu announced that Yu Zhengjun joined Baidu as the group's chief financial officer (CFO) to lead the construction, development and operation of Baidu's financial system. Yu Zhengjun will report directly to Robin Li, founder, chairman and CEO of Baidu. On August 12, 2021, Baidu announced that according to Baidu's executive rotation plan, Yu Zhengjun would be transferred to the position of chief strategy officer (CSO), responsible for the company's strategic planning and management.
