CTOnews.com, Feb. 27 (Xinhua)-- Google is introducing some new barrier-free features for Android Chrome browsers and Wear OS 3 as part of a modest spring upgrade.

Wear OS 3 + will allow users to set up mono channels to "reduce disorientation caused by split channels". At the same time, color correction and grayscale mode will be introduced soon, in addition, magnification, TalkBack and real-time text (RTT) will be supported on the Pixel Watch.

The Android version of the Chrome browser will allow users to increase the size of text, images, videos and other controls to 300% without changing the page layout. Google will save this preference for all sites that users visit so that they don't have to constantly adjust or even bypass sites that try to block zooming. Previously, Google only allowed users to adjust text zoom options, up to 200%.

This feature is not yet available to all Chrome users, but it has been launched on Chrome beta and is now available. Google has also introduced other updates, including a new free handwritten comment feature for Google Drive on Android, which allows users to write or highlight important text on PDF with their fingers or stylus, and to hide, undo, delete or save copies of PDF with comments, a convenient note-taking feature. Google has also introduced Meet's noise reduction capabilities to more Android devices (without specifying which devices) and brought some new spring and basketball-themed emoji combinations to Gboard's Emoji Kitchen.
