Qualcomm said that with Snapdragon X75, X72 and X35 5G modems and RF systems, the portfolio provides OEMs with a one-stop solution that is globally certified to work with 5G networks of all major mobile network operators around the world to support the development of next-generation 5G devices and bring consumers a wide range of 5G devices from PC to XR and gaming.

According to reports, these new reference designs integrate modems, transceivers and RF front-ends on a compact circuit board, enabling manufacturers to quickly and cost-effectively incorporate the functionality of new Snapdragon modems and RF systems into new products, driving the popularity of 5G to a wide range of terminal types.

Snapdragon X75 and X72 5G reference designs support Sub-6GHz and millimeter wave bands, while Snapdragon X35 5G reference design is the first to support 5G NR-Light (3GPP Release 17 RedCap).

Qualcomm Snapdragon X75, X72 and X35 5G M.2 and LGA reference designs are being sampled to customers and solutions are expected to be commercially available from the second half of 2023.
