The revenue of ideal Automobile in the fourth quarter was 17.65 billion yuan, and the market is expected to be 17.622 billion yuan, compared with 10.62 billion yuan in the same period last year, an increase of 66.2% over the same period last year. The net profit in the fourth quarter was 265 million yuan, compared with 296 million yuan in the same period last year. Quarterly delivery reached 46319 vehicles, an increase of 31.5% over the same period last year.

The revenue of ideal car in 2022 was 45.29 billion yuan, an increase of 67.7% over the same period last year. 133246 vehicles were delivered in the whole year, an increase of 47.2% over the same period last year. The net loss for the whole year of 2022 was 2.032 billion yuan, and that of 2021 was 320 million yuan, an increase of 53.5% over the same period last year.

The fourth quarter gross profit of ideal car is healthy and stable, reaching 20.2%, with a quarterly operating profit of 568.7 million yuan (excluding equity incentives).

The performance outlook for the first quarter of 2023 hit a new quarterly high. Ideal Motor expects delivery of 52000 to 55000 vehicles, an increase of 64.0% to 73.4% over the same period last year, and total revenue of 17.45 billion yuan to 18.45 billion yuan, an increase of 82.5% to 93.0%.

The ideal L7 was officially launched this month, and the first delivery of the new model will be launched in early March.

CTOnews.com noted that the US stock of ideal car rose more than 4 per cent in pre-market trading after the announcement.
