According to Tecno, the chameleon coloring technology is a full-spectrum electronically controlled prism coloring technology that uses submicron prism material grids that change direction when an electric field is applied. CTOnews.com found that the material is not a display screen and does not actively produce any light, but reflects light from its surface and colors it in the process.

According to the official demonstration, the arrangement of submicron prisms can be manually controlled by software, manually selected from a total of 1600 different colors, or automatically changed according to battery status, music or notification. There are so many tricks to play with. According to Voice Tecno, the change operation can be repeated up to 2 million times, and it is very durable even if you make many changes in a day.

In addition, the material can change color in 0.03 seconds, the power consumption is negligible, and it takes only as much power to make 100 changes in a day as watching a 5-minute video.
