CTOnews.com, February 27 (Xinhua)-- SpaceX and NASA postponed their manned launch mission Crew-6 for the first time earlier today due to problems with the Falcon 9 rocket.

The Crew-6 crew had begun to prepare for launch, but as the countdown to launch approached, mission controllers informed them of a problem, and mission control informed the crew more than two minutes before Falcon 9 launch that they would have to cancel today's launch, and the next launch attempt would be about 24 hours later.

The dragon spacecraft had loaded its engine with propellant as early as a week ago, but the mission control team encountered a rare problem about five minutes before it was ignited today.

It is worth mentioning that the Falcon 9 booster (1078) used today is a brand new rocket that should have made its maiden flight today.
