CTOnews.com, February 27 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- earlier this year, TCL launched three phones for the European and Asian markets on CES, namely, the TCL 40 SE, 408 and 403.

All three models support only 4G, focusing on low-cost and entry-level markets. Now, TCL has launched more 40 series phones on MWC 2023, some of which have 5G capabilities, all of which cost less than $200.

The TCL 40X 5GTCL 40X 5G costs $200. it is equipped with MediaTek's Tianji 700 chip, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, a 6.56-inch display, HD+ resolution (20:9) and 90Hz refresh rate.

In addition, the back of the machine has a 50MP main camera and two 2MP auxiliary lenses, the front 8MP camera can unlock the face, it also uses a side fingerprint identification scheme, is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports a 5G network.

The TCL 40XE 5GTCL 40XE 5G is similar to the 40X 5G, but it reduces the price to $170 (currently about 1183 yuan), which is by far the cheapest 5G phone in TCL. However, it carries the same Tianji 700 as the X, and has the same 4/64GB configuration, 6.56in HD+ 90Hz display and side fingerprint recognition.

The machine has a rear 13MP main camera, a pair of 2MP auxiliary lenses and a front 8MP sensor, which has been upgraded to a 5000mAh battery compared to the previous generation model.

The TCL 40 XLTCL 40 XL is equipped with 12nm's Helio G37 chip, which does not support 5G. It uses a 6.75inch HD + screen, rear 50+2+2MP triple shot, and front 8MP camera.

The storage capacity of the TCL 40 XL is increased to 128GB (which can be extended to 512GB with a microSD card), but the RAM is still 4GB.

The machine has the same 5000mAh battery capacity as the X / XE and is also a side fingerprint recognition scheme. It costs $150 overseas (currently about 1044 yuan), which is $20 cheaper than 40 XE and 40 SE.

The TCL 406TCL 406 sells for $120 (currently about 835 yuan), which is $10 lower than the 408.

The new phone features a 6.6in HD+ display, stereo speakers and 5000mAh batteries, a 13MP camera, a full Android system, and even the latest version 13.
