CTOnews.com, February 27, 2009. Lenovo just unveiled ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 and ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 at MWC 2023 Mobile World Congress. Of these, the ThinkPad Z13, which will be launched in July, starts at $1249 (currently about 8693 yuan), while the ThinkPad Z16 will be launched in August, starting at $1749 (currently about 12173 yuan).

Both laptops are equipped with AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors (Lenovo has not specified which processors as of CTOnews.com), of which the Z13 will use an integrated Radeon graphics card and the Z16 will have an optional AMD Radeon 6550m graphics card.

The highest available models are 64GB RAM and 2TB SSD storage with a 16:10 screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, with a 13-inch model with a 2880 x 1800 OLED panel and a 16-inch model with a 3840 x 2400 OLED touchscreen.

Lenovo highlighted the internal specifications of laptops, such as the Wi-Fi 6e, 1080p webcam and Dolby voice microphone, but the company emphasized the unique material of the PC top cover the most. This is a new "flax braided" material specially launched for the Z series, which is mainly covered with a top cover made of 75% recycled aluminum.

According to reports, this material will retain many "make it different from the traditional ThinkPad" features, such as the touch pad and TrackPoint shortcut menu, and can also feel and look better.
