CTOnews.com February 27, Lenovo released the eighth generation of IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook on MWC 2023. The Chromebook, with a 14-inch display and a MediaTek Kompanio 520chip, will go on sale in May with a starting price of $340 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 2366 yuan).

MediaTek launched the Kompanio 520 and 520 chips at the end of 2022. These two chips focus on entry-level Chromebook. As time comes to 2023, we finally see more choices.

In fact, the IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook is not Lenovo's first product with the processor, because the 100e Chromebook Gen 4 and 300e Yoga Chromebook Gen 4 released in January already have a similar design, and the 14-inch Chromebook follows in the footsteps of the ASUS CM14 and CM14 Flip Chromebook, which have similar core specifications.
