The project is located in Yao Town, Shangzhou District, Shangluo City, covering an area of about 2600 mu. It is the first "large capacity, high slope" centralized mountain photovoltaic power generation project in Shaanxi Province. The construction of the project began in July 2022, overcoming the problems such as uneven topography, irregular usable area and difficult construction in the area where the project is located, completed the construction task with high standards and achieved a successful grid connection. The power station is divided into 37 photovoltaic power generation units, which will eventually be merged into the Jinghe substation of the State Grid Company, 10 kilometers away.

It is reported that the 100MW photovoltaic power station project in Shangzhou District of Shaanxi Province can provide an average of 145 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity per year, save 42900 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 117500 tons, and provide about 100 jobs, which will effectively improve the power supply conditions in Shangluo and its surrounding areas, increase the proportion of local new energy use, and make an important contribution to local economic development and rural revitalization.
