The three Gorges Group said that the operation and maintenance ship has improved the shortcomings of traditional catamarans, such as poor seaworthiness and low voyage rate under complex sea conditions, and made a new breakthrough in terms of speed and berthing capacity. it marks an important step towards personalized and high-quality development of China's offshore wind power operation and maintenance industry.

Under the catamaran (CAT) mode, the maximum speed of the ship can reach 25 knots, which is more than 1.5 times that of the domestic ordinary operation and maintenance ship. When the ship uses the small waterline catamaran (SWATH) mode to lean against the fan, the vertical drop of 2-3 meters of the conventional ship can be reduced to about 1 meter.

According to reports, the ship is an operation and maintenance ship invested and built by the three Gorges Energy Offshore Wind Power Operation and maintenance Jiangsu Co., Ltd., which belongs to the three Gorges Group, with independent intellectual property rights. Some performance indicators, such as power system, jacking performance, wave resistance, and fuel economy performance have reached the advanced standards of developed countries.
