That the construction of the new housing bridge between Xiongan New area and Xinzhou High-speed Railway (Xiongxin High-speed Railway) officially started a few days ago, marking the Xiongbao section of Xiongxin high-speed railway has entered the main construction phase.

The new high-speed railway from Xiongan New area to Xinzhou is a key railway construction project in the national "medium-and long-term Railway Network Planning" and "Railway 13th five-year Plan". It is an important part of the Beijing-Kunming Corridor, the main channel of the "eight horizontal and eight vertical" high-speed railway in the medium-and long-term railway planning.

The main line of Xiongxin high-speed railway is 342km long with a design speed of 350km. It starts from Xiongan Station of Jingxiong Railway, through Xiongan New area, Qingyuan District of Baoding, Wangdu, Quyang, Fuping and other counties, Wutai Mountain Scenic spot of Shanxi Province, Wutai County and Dingxiang County of Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, and connects to Xinzhou West Railway Station of Shanxi Province. The total length of the main line is 342km, with a total of 12 stations (CTOnews.com Note: including a reserved station).

Xiongan Station, Xiongan Intercity Station, Xiaoli Station (reserved), Baoding East Station, Baoding South Station, Wangdu North Station, Tangxian Station, Quyang Station, Fuping Station, Wutaishan Station, Wutai County Station, Dingxiang North Station, Xinzhou West Station.

Ma Jianhua, head of the Xiongxin high-speed railway project of the China Railway electrification Bureau, said that the new Gaifang Bridge under construction has a total length of 4304 meters. The bridge needs to cross Xiongzhou Road, the branch line of South-to-North Water Dianxiong County, S334 Provincial Highway, Baojing Highway, Mazhuang Canal, Daqing River and the express railway from Jianxiong'an to Beijing Daxing Airport, which is an important, difficult and controlling project of the line. At present, the Xiongbao section has three extra-large bridges, a beam yard and the reinforcement project of Xiongan bullet train is under construction one after another. It is expected that the main body of the bridge will be completed by 2024.

According to the plan, Xiongxin high-speed railway is scheduled to be completed on March 31, 2027, and will link up with the proposed Jingxiong commercial high-speed railway, the existing Jingxiong inter-city railway and the existing Daxi high-speed railway and Tianjin-Bao railway, etc., which is of positive significance to speed up the implementation of the high-standard Beijing-Kunming railway network through Xiongan New area, Taiyuan, Xi'an, Chongqing to Kunming and improve the layout of the high-speed railway network.
