After completing a series of prescribed flight test subjects, the AG600M plane landed smoothly at 08:26. The aircraft was in good condition, the control system was normal, and the systems were working stably.

A total of 4 fire extinguishers of the new configuration of AG600M aircraft have been put into production, and the AG600M in this flight test is the fourth of this type of aircraft. So far, the four AG600M aircraft are carrying out flight test missions in many places at the same time.

The "Kunlong" AG600M is a large amphibious aircraft developed to meet the needs of China's emergency rescue system and the construction of the national natural disaster prevention system, with a maximum take-off weight of 60 tons, a maximum carrying capacity of 12 tons, a range of 4500 kilometers, and a higher safety, larger water volume, longer range, stronger wave resistance, and better platform serialization development capability.

CTOnews.com previously reported that the project plans to be able to carry out fire-fighting tasks in 2023, obtain a fire-fighting airworthiness certificate in 2024, obtain a rescue airworthiness certificate in 2025, and deliver it to customers in small batches during the 14th five-year Plan period.

According to the aviation industry, what is different from the domestic large airliner C919 and the regional airliner ARJ21-700 is that the AG600M is a large-scale fire-fighting / water rescue amphibious aircraft. In addition to routine flight test subjects, it is necessary to break through more than ten key water flight test technologies, such as water performance, water stability, fire-fighting mission system, and so on. At the same time, the AG600M aircraft comprehensively adopted the domestic new generation test system for the first time, and also adopted the telex flight control system and integrated avionics system on the four-engine propeller aircraft for the first time, which has many high-risk subjects and is difficult to implement.
