Looking ahead, Blender plans to release only three versions a year, one of which will become the annual LTS version. Releasing less once a year can reduce the burden of testing / build overload and related, while still allowing new features to be released to users in a timely manner.

Blender 3.5 is still scheduled to be released at the end of March, while the Blender 3.6 LTS will debut in July and will be supported until 2025. However, Blender 3.7has been cancelled and Blender 4.0will follow the new release schedule. Blender 4.0 is scheduled to be released by the end of November.
