Chen Shanguang, deputy chief designer of China's manned space program, said:

We are about to begin to prepare for the selection of international astronauts to our space station to jointly carry out scientific experiments and so on. Come to China's space station, use Chinese spaceships to go into space, and be familiar with Chinese aircraft. We may have to wait until after the domestic situation, and we will specially have instructors to coach them. We also hope that foreign astronauts will come to China's space station and learn more about Chinese culture. Of course, we also hope that cultural exchanges among astronauts between countries will be more valuable if they promote each other.

According to China's manned space mission plan, astronauts will regularly watch the space station in the future, with a mission period of six months for each batch of astronauts, and two groups of six astronauts will carry out missions this year.

Yang Liwei, deputy chief designer of China's manned space program, said that the selection of the six astronauts has been completed. At present, the Chinese space station has fully entered the stage of application and development, and the next project will comprehensively implement the manned lunar landing project.

It is worth mentioning that the opening ceremony of the 30-year Achievement Exhibition of China's manned Space Project was held in the West Hall of the National Museum of China yesterday, showing the development process and construction achievements of the project to the public for the first time comprehensively and systematically.
