CTOnews.com, February 25 (Xinhua)-- Activision is developing a new call of Duty (Call of Duty) game, which will be an independent game under Modern Warfare IP, according to a recently disclosed report.

Activision will release a new game this year, targeting an extension of call of Duty: modern Warfare II 2022, according to Bloomberg Jason Schreier.

However, the game is still a stand-alone game and can be released at full price. Unnamed internal sources point out that the game will contain maps and patterns related to call of Duty: modern Warfare II 2022.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that the game was developed by Sledgehammer Games (Advanced Warfare, Vanguard), but is unlikely to be named Modern Warfare III. The developers are also supported by other call of Duty studios such as Treyarch and Infinity Ward.
