The Shanghai Communications Administration organizes 10 key telecom and Internet enterprises, including Shanghai Telecom, Shanghai Mobile, Shanghai Unicom, Oriental Cable, pinduoduo, Ctrip, bilibili, Dawu, Xiao Hongshu and Himalayas, to identify and identify important data and core data and catalogue filing in accordance with the identification guidelines for important data and core data in the industrial and information field.

Recently, the Shanghai Communications Administration has organized experts in the field of data security to conduct special reviews on important data and core data submitted by enterprises, and to guide enterprises to carry out data identification, classification and security protection work in the form of review opinion bulletins and field research interviews.

The review held that the overall quality of the data catalogue submitted by Shanghai Mobile, Dawu, Xiaohongshu, Shanghai Telecom, pinduoduo and Ctrip was good, among which the data identification work of Shanghai Mobile and Gotham was more prominent. After several rounds of review feedback and rectification reports, Shanghai Communications Administration has examined and determined the first batch of important data and core data catalogue of Shanghai telecom and Internet industry, and submitted it to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in accordance with the regulations.

CTOnews.com remarks: China's first special law on data security, the data Security Law, will come into force on September 1, 2021. The data Security Act makes it clear:
