CTOnews.com February 24, realme will launch the realme GT3 240W at the MWC 2023 conference on February 28. Prior to the launch, the smartphone appeared on the Geekbench running website, the model is RMX3709, it is equipped with Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip, and has passed several certifications, including Bluetooth SIG, Thailand NBTC, Indonesia TKDN and EU EEC certification.

The main highlight of the realme GT3 phone is the 240W fast charging support (CTOnews.com Note: the phone is expected to be renamed by the realme GT Neo5 Bank of China), which can be charged from 1% to 100% in 10 minutes.

The RMX3709 model of realme GT3 appears in the Geekbench 5 benchmark database, with a single core running score of 1265 and a multi-core running score of 3885. The code name "taro" should refer to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip, CPU peak frequency 3.0GHz, using Adreno 730GPU. The device uses 16GB memory and the Android 13 system will be pre-installed.

According to the Bluetooth SIG list, the device supports Bluetooth 5.2 connections.

In order to achieve 240W charging, realme designed a custom 12A charging cable and 240W dual GaN mini charger.

The realme GT Neo5 is equipped with 4600mAh batteries. Realme says it implements more than 60 layers of protection, which is the first battery that supports more than 200W charging and is TUV Rheinland certified. In theory, the phone can maintain 80 per cent capacity after 1600 charging cycles. Use 240W fast charge, charge for 30 seconds and talk for 2 hours. In addition, it takes only 80 seconds to charge from 1% to 20%, and it is reported that the full charge will be within 10 minutes.

The realme GT Neo5 phone is equipped with Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 flagship dual core, 16GB+1TB memory, Tianma 144Hz 1.5K flagship straight screen, T7 + new generation flagship luminous material, local peak brightness of 1400nit, support for 144Hz high refresh rate, 7-speed intelligent dynamic refresh rate, 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, 500000ver1 dynamic contrast.

There is also a 150W realme GT Neo5 phone with 5000mAh battery. It is not clear whether it will be launched globally as a version of the GT3 150W.
