CTOnews.com, February 24 (Xinhua)-- during Warner Bros. Discovery's quarterly investor conference call, the media giant announced that it is producing "Mortal Kombat", which will be released in 2023.

Warner did not disclose details about the game. Andrew Slabin, executive vice president of the company, revealed that suicide Squad: defeating Justice League (Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League) will be launched on May 26, in addition to the release of Live Quick call 12.

NetherRealm Studios, the main developer of the live-action game series, has not commented on the news.

"Live Express 11" was launched in the spring of 2019, followed by some paid and free DLC. CTOnews.com reported in July 2021 that the game sold more than 12 million copies worldwide; the book reported that it sold more than 1500 million copies in mid-2022.
