CTOnews.com February 23 news, Weigang today announced the launch of the first overclocking DDR5-5600 R-DIMM memory module, supporting the latest generation of Intel Xeon Wmai 3400 and Wmai 2400 series processors.

According to reports, Weigang DDR5 5600 R-DIMM memory speed up to 5600MT / s, using SK Hynix A-die particles, compared with the native 4800 R-DIMM memory bandwidth increased by 28%, latency reduced by 12%, and provides 16GB and 32GB capacity models, supporting Intel XMP 3.0. The Weigang DDR5 5600 R-DIMM memory also features a power management chip (PMIC, Power Management IC) to provide a more stable power supply, as well as a dual error correction mechanism of On-die ECC and Side-band ECC, providing complete end-to-end protection and improved accuracy for data transmission.

Officials say the DDR5-5600 R-DIMM overclocking memory is expected to be officially introduced into the market in the second quarter of 2023.
