CTOnews.com February 23 news, NetEase today released the fourth quarter of 2022 and full-year results. NetEase's total revenue was 96.5 billion yuan in 2022, and the continuing operating net profit attributed to the company's shareholders was 22.8 billion yuan under non-GAAP. Of this total, Q4 revenue was 25.4 billion yuan, an increase of 4% over the same period last year; under non-generally accepted accounting standards, the continuing operating net profit belonging to the company's shareholders was 4.8 billion yuan.

The key data of NetEase Q4 extracted by CTOnews.com are as follows:

NetEase's net income from games and related value-added services was 19.1 billion yuan ($2.8 billion), up 1.6 per cent from the fourth quarter of 2021.

NetEase's youdao net income was 1.5 billion yuan ($210.8 million), an increase of 9.0% over the fourth quarter of 2021.

NetEase Music's net income was 2.4 billion yuan ($344.5 million), an increase of 25.8 percent over the fourth quarter of 2021.

Net income from innovation and other businesses was 2.4 billion yuan ($353.5 million), an increase of 3.4 per cent over the fourth quarter of 2021.

NetEase invested more than 15 billion yuan in R & D in 2022, accounting for 15.6% of revenue. Among them, Q4 invested 4.1 billion yuan in R & D, a record high.

NetEase CEO Ding Lei said:

We achieved steady growth in 2022, mainly due to the continued popularity of games and the expansion of our products and services, with total revenue reaching 25.4 billion yuan in the fourth quarter.
