Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, February 23, Twitter announced that starting from March 20, non-Twitter Blue subscribers will no longer support two-factor authentication (2FA) for SMS messages. After the announcement, a large number of authentication applications aimed at fraud have sprung up on Apple's App Store.

Developer and security researcher Mysk was the first to notice the problem, and CTOnews.com translated his tweet as follows: "these authentication apps are available as free apps, and users need to buy a subscription before scanning the QR code at a cost of $40 a year and a free trial period of three days."

Mysk questioned why Apple App Store was able to approve these apps, saying they were apparently fraudulent. Ordinary users can't tell whether these applications are real or not, so it's very easy to get caught.
