Fudi Power said that the "new extended range platform for light commercial vehicles" integrates range enhancers (engines, generators, dual motor controllers, reducers), integrated electric drive axles, series hybrid routes, and platform system solutions, which can carry 3.5-6 tons of commercial light trucks, suitable for cold chain vehicles, logistics vehicles, sanitation vehicles, road rescue vehicles and other vans, fence plates, flat plate light trucks, light buses and large pick-up trucks.

CTOnews.com learned from Fudi Power officials that the platform runs in pure electric mode when the battery energy is high; when the battery energy is lower than the minimum, the range extender starts, and the engine drives the generator to replenish the power; in the acceleration condition, the range extender and the power battery can provide power for the drive motor at the same time.

In terms of overall design, the platform integrated lightweight design scheme reduces the types of parts by 30%, and is easy to modular layout and assembly. Compared with the pure electricity scheme, the weight is reduced by 350kg, leaving more space for the goods.

In terms of power, officials say that the platform is equipped with 1.5Ti high-efficiency engine, the highest efficiency of flat-line generator is 96.6%, the highest efficiency of flat-line drive motor is 98.3%, and the highest efficiency of integrated electric drive bridge is 94%. At the same time, it uses a dual-motor controller with the highest efficiency of ≥ 98%, so that the overall efficiency of the whole system is high, and the high efficiency area can be covered to 65kW.
