The short film, called "the most precious gift (Most Precious Gift)", tells the story of human beings trying to make peace with another intelligent creature that holds the key to survival. This is an extension of Wang Shangyu's interest in extraterrestrial civilization and its potential conflict with human beings.

He usually skips the conceptual design phase required by most artists and goes straight to 3D modeling. He carved and molded models in Autodesk Maya and Autodesk Fusion 360.

By choosing the default Autodesk Arnold renderer and using the Studio designer accelerated by GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, Wang Shangyu is able to use RTX accelerated ray tracing and AI noise reduction, which allows him to modify and add details for realistic visual effects during a highly interactive process. This has brought him an amazing improvement in efficiency.

Wang Shangyu built textures in Adobe Substance 3D Painter and paid extra attention to fine details, noting that the app was "the best choice for creating realistic, original materials". RTX's accelerated lighting and ambient light shadowing allows him to bake assets in seconds.
