Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen Brother Black fly's left hand clue delivery! CTOnews.com, February 23 (Xinhua) Bloomberg Mark Mark Gurman pointed out in the latest report that Apple has made a breakthrough in non-invasive blood glucose monitoring technology and will be equipped with the Apple Watch smartwatch in the future.

Apple wants diabetics or ordinary users to monitor their blood sugar levels without piercing their skin.

Apple has developed a silicon photonic chip that collects the optical absorption spectrum transmitted by a laser on the skin to determine the concentration of glucose in the body. Goolman says the technology is in a viable "proof-of-concept" stage and then needs to be compressed to fit the size of the wearable device.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that the prototype device is similar in size to the iPhone and can be worn on a person's arm. Apple's original prototype device needs to be placed on the desktop.

The chips used in the prototype device are produced by Taiwan accumulator, while the sensors and chips for glucose monitoring are developed jointly by Apple and Rockley Photonics.

Rockley Photonics launched a digital sensor system in 2021 that is said to monitor body temperature, blood pressure, glucose trends, hydration, alcohol, lactic acid and so on. Rockley Photonics made it clear in regulatory filings that Apple was its biggest customer, but Apple eventually ended the relationship.

Apple's exploratory design team (XDG) has hundreds of engineers working on the project, but the technology is still years away. XDG, similar to Google's X R & D project, is Apple's most mysterious project, according to Bloomberg. Apple has spent hundreds of millions of dollars developing non-invasive blood glucose monitoring.
