CTOnews.com, February 22, Motorola X40 mobile phone launched in the Chinese market at the end of last year, is a high-end flagship product. There is speculation that the global version of the phone may be renamed Motorola Edge 40 Pro.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro was found in the Geekbench database last week, and now the device appears in the Google Play management center. This is a flagship smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 12GB memory and 1080p screen.

The built-in wallpaper on the device looks the same as the official image on Motorola's website, with 2.5D curved sides and center punches-all distinctive features of the X40.

Google Play Management Center certification indicates that Motorola Edge 40 Pro will support Google services and will be pre-installed to run Android 13.

Motorola Edge 40 Pro is expected to carry Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 6.67 inch OLED display, support FHD + resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, and has Corning gorilla glass Victus coverage. Front 60MP camera, rear 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 12MP portrait lens. Equipped with 4600mAh battery, support 125W fast wired and 15W wireless charging. The other model is 5000mAh battery and 68W charging. The size of the phone is 161.3 × 73.9x8.5mm and its weight is 196g. Connection options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C ports for charging.
