CTOnews.com, February 22 (Xinhua)-- T-Mobile carrier version one plus 7T is long overdue to get an update to Android 12, and the phone that was three years ago is finally getting a major update of OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12. (CTOnews.com Note: this is the last major version upgrade of the phone).

It usually takes longer for operators to upgrade their locked systems, and the unlocked version of one plus 7T phones pushed Android 12 updates in October last year.

T-Mobile has not officially announced a new Android 12 update for one plus 7T, but some users have detected firmware updates. According to the update log, the update comes with a security patch for December 2022. The firmware version number is HD1907_11_F.03, and the download capacity is close to 4GB.

The McLaren version of the one plus 7T phone is expected to still qualify for Android 12 updates, but it will take some time.

The one plus 7T phone was released in October 2019 with a 6.55 inch 2400 × 1080 resolution AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1000 nits and HDR10 +, and an off-screen fingerprint. In terms of hardware, it is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chip and 3800mAh battery to support 30W fast charging. The rear three-shot, 4800-megapixel Sony IMX586 main camera has a 16 million ultra-wide-angle camera (117 degrees) and 1200 megapixel camera, supports 2.5cm macro shooting, 720p@960fps slow-motion mode, and a front 1600-megapixel camera.
