Taskbar V23 Alpha 2 Taskbar component introduces shortcut panel area, integrating plug-in functions and system shortcut settings.

Users can drag the function entry from the shortcut panel to the taskbar plug-in area to complete the personalized needs; they can also drag the three-party shortcut entry from the tray window to the taskbar tray area to meet the requirements for the display of three-party application shortcut icons.

At the same time, the tray area is expanded and displayed using an independent panel, which no longer occupies the length of the taskbar, so as to avoid affecting the display of icons in the application area after expansion.

Launcher Launcher welcomes a number of improvements, including alphabetical sorting, automatic expansion of app categories, top of common apps, custom category apps, etc.

Users can use alphabetical sorting and category sorting in window mode to optimize the way apps are displayed by category; or open the app collection panel and drag or right-click the app to the collection area.

Users can also move app icons in full screen mode, create app folders, group management and custom naming, and manage common apps.

Control Center V23 Alpha 2 Control Center has been optimized for overall layout, supporting sidebar (first-level menu) collapse, optimizing the display mode of second-level menu, making operation faster and more portable.

At the same time, the personalization module provides 5 new global themes, 13 icon themes and 5 cursor themes.

Desktop component V23 Alpha 2 adds desktop component-widget, which supports viewing time and time difference of multiple cities around the world. Users can check the world time, know the weather in real time, check emails quickly, and freely adjust the size and display content of widgets.

Deepin V23 Alpha 2 version was released on February 8. This version is one of the phased versions of V23.
